This is going to be a really short review. There aren’t even going to be pictures included. I had to say something, it has been on my mind the last few weeks and I need to get it out in the open. My grandmother passed away and my family came to town to pay their last respects, after we all went to the Chelino’s at NW Expy and Rockwell to eat. In total there were fiveteen people including 6 kids all under 13 years old. When we arrived one person in our party quickly ran in to let them know that we were coming in and by the time the rest of us piled out of our cars and walked in they already had the tables together and were working on getting the chips and salsas out. Granted we came in when they weren’t’ busy but we were quickly taken care of. Our server was friendly and professional and took good care of us. I don’t think anyone at the table went thirsty once the drink orders were made. Our food was made quickly and it was all correct. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food, and even with some of the kids running around (ugh) the staff didn’t blink an eye. Our server asked if the bill was going to be split once we were all full and got everyone’s tickets out to be paid. Maybe it is the software in their POS system that makes it easy to split the tab but it didn’t seem to phase him that the tab was split five ways. I wish I could remember the server’s name, because he was excellent and made sure everyone was happy without even breaking a sweat, and if we did drive him crazy he never showed it to us. It made for a nice meal and nice time for such a somber occasion. This is the second Chilinos I have been to, and both of these locations have provided excellent service. I can not speak for the rest of my party, but the food I had (guacamole salad and the chips, salsa, special salsa and flour tortillas) was all good and tasted fresh. I highly recommend them. Especially if you have a large group.
